Carol is an experienced Customer Experience professional who has worked in customer support managing in single and multiple contact channel environments, including multiple sites across the World for over 20 years. She has extensive experience across multiple business areas including, retail, internet, league football and mobile phone markets. During her time at a Tier 1 internet service provider she managed and developed the business to receive industry recognition being awarded 9 out of 11 U-switch awards for customer excellence.

Carol is revered for her focus and proven track record in customer excellence and her ability to manage and grow teams both organically and through acquisition, integrating and margining businesses into the current support models with a measurable improvement in the customer experience and proven reduction in cost.

Stuart Budd

Stuart Budd

Head of Regulatory Compliance

Stuart has worked for SRCL and ERS Medical since 2003 in a number of roles. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and has worked for a number of companies and organisations including the Environment Agency where he was responsible for the permitting and ongoing regulation of a wide range of industrial activities. He is the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) for the group.

Led by Stuart, the Regulatory Compliance Team is responsible for advising the business on all aspects of its activities including Health & Safety, Environmental Sustainability, Management System, Information Security and Dangerous Goods Transport. The background and experience of the team members allow ERS Medical to provide comprehensive compliance resources that are unmatched.

The team works closely with the regulatory agencies, government departments and our customers to ensure that the ERS Medical can deliver new and existing services in accordance with relevant legislation, our operation permits and applicable guidance.

Ed Clements

Sales Director (ERS Medical)

Ed joined ERS Medical from a mid-sized patient transport business where he’d served as Operations Director bringing broad experience in patient transport, NHS service delivery and business analysis. Ed’s focus in his previous role was to drive a programme of change and improvement throughout the patient transport operation, delivering significant results in service performance, patient experience and client relationships.

With significant NHS experience gained through leading outpatient services for a large acute NHS Trust in Surrey, Ed has a well-developed understanding of our NHS clients and supports the business in tailoring our NHS transport solutions.

Ed’s analytical approach was developed through his years with Detica Plc, a large London based consultancy, where he led a number of client-side consultancy engagements for Department of Health, Home Office and ISA (Independent Safeguarding Authority).

Jeff Heyes

Jeff Heyes

Locality Director (North)

Jeff has responsibility for all our operations in the North and has a strong background in logistics management. Recently Jeff was responsible for managing and implementing our contract mobilisations with Mid Essex CCG and North, East and West Devon CCG. He has 6 years’ service as a Royal Navy logistician and a further 6 years experience within the healthcare transport sector.

Prior to ERS Medical Jeff was Senior Operations Manager at Intercare Distribution and responsible for overseeing the management of the healthcare waste, courier services and patient transport divisions. He has also worked as Operations Manager for Biffa Waste and Bibby Distribution, and in transport planning for the Home Delivery Market for Parcelnet.

Helen Inch

Director of HR & Communications

Helen has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of HR and Payroll. As a CIPD qualified Fellow, Helen has spent the last 10 years working within the utilities/service industry, providing strategic direction and support to managers and colleagues within a number of organisations.

Day to day responsibility includes organisation change development; employee relations management; reward and remuneration; employee engagement and talent management.

Working closely with stakeholders and leaders within the business, the HR and payroll team promotes best practice and provide guidance and support in respect to effective people and payroll management.

Amjid Mohammed

Amjid Mohammed

Medical Director

Amjid has been a consultant in emergency medicine for 10 years since qualifying at Liverpool Medical School and is an Honorary Fellow at the HCRI at Manchester University.

He has worked in a variety of different areas of medicine, gaining wide experience in all aspects of emergency care. He has had involvement in major trauma and international disaster relief and helped set up the UK international trauma register. He also works with a number of sporting organisations providing medical support.

At ERS Medical Amjid will advise on clinical and governance issues and ensure that the organisation continues to deliver a quality agenda.

Nick Payne

Operations Director (Healthcare IT & Telephony Services)

Nick joined ERS Medical in August 2013 following the acquisition of TextAnywhere Ltd in July 2013. Nick was previously the Managing Director of TextAnywhere, having co-founded the business in 2003.

Nick brings a wealth of expertise to ERS Medical. From a simple idea of enabling organisations to send SMS text messages from their PCs and in-house applications, Nick and his team at TextAnywhere grew the business to a client community of over 12,000 businesses and public sector bodies.

Now, in his role as UK Operations Director at ERS Medical, Nick is responsible for the healthcare IT aspects of the business’ portfolio including the Patient Communications services, plus the First Practice Management and My Surgery Website offerings.

Emma Peace

Emma Peace

Head of IS

Emma is currently Head of IS for the UK and Ireland and oversees the IS department encompassing 30 team members. Emma has been with the company since 1997 and started her career in the Finance department further progressing her role through the business before starting in the IS department as the Manager of Projects and Data. In 2010 Emma spent 12 months in the US working as a Director of Project Management, managing a team focused on large IS initiatives. Emma returned to the UK in 2011 taking up the role Head of the IS department. Emma has a wealth of experience in managing large scale projects of applications and infrastructure initiatives across the globe.

Emma’s team works across support, Infrastructure, Business Intelligence and Projects. The team ensures that ERS Medical’s infrastructure and applications are robust and scalable supporting the growth and exciting challenges that ERS Medical face.

Craig Wood

Head of Health & Care Standards

Craig has joined ERS Medical from ERS International Group where his role was director of Care, Quality and Workforce Development. With a strong background in the NHS Craig worked for a number of different hospitals as an emergency nurse and emergency nurse practitioner, working from staff nurse through to clinical nurse manager of an emergency department.

As Head of Health & Care Standards, Craig has a crucial role with ERS Medical, ensuring the quality of care and service for the company. Craig's real focus is to keep the patient at the centre of everything ERS Medical do, by making governance and quality the threads which run through every aspect of any service we deliver.
