ERS Medical Wins YMCA Training Awards
ERS Medical has won the Large Employer of the Year category in the 2015 YMCA Training Awards for its national apprenticeship scheme. Run in partnership with YMCA Training, ERS Medical’s apprenticeship scheme offers opportunities to candidates aged 18 to 24 in the areas of training, operations, finance, performance management, customer experience, call centre operations and sales. The Large Employer of The Year award was presented at a ceremony that took place at the House of Commons, in London, on 2 March.
The ERS Medical Apprenticeship Scheme gives apprentices the opportunity to work within the healthcare sector on either a one or two-year fixed term contract while gaining Level 2 and 3 NVQ qualifications. A monthly salary, flexible working patterns and annual leave are some of the other benefits offered to candidates.
Additionally, apprentices on the scheme undergo a structured training and development programme in partnership with YMCA Training. Candidates are able to study at their own pace to suit individual learning levels as training will be role-specific and bespoke to each individual.
