Transporting Patients During the Covid-19 Pandemic

During the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, the team at ERS Medical have continued to transport patients for essential treatment and discharge patients from Hospital.

For those patients who need regular hospital appointments for lifesaving treatment the ERS Team have been working tirelessly to ensure that during the COVID-19 pandemic they can still get to the hospital to receive the treatment they urgently need as well as supporting many NHS Trusts across the country with the transportation of patients tested positive for and/or are symptomatic of Covid-19.

Andrew Pooley Managing Director commented “The continued service is a credit to all our staff especially the frontline crews, dispatchers and site teams who have shown their commitment, passion and selflessness to ensure the care of our patients.”

“Across the country the ERS Team has shown their dedication cancelling annual leave and working extra shifts to ensure the service is available for those who need it. At one of our sites in Cramlington a crew member has chosen to self-isolate from her family to make sure she can keep coming into work!”
