ERS Medical successfully launch NEPTS contract in Norfolk!
ERS Medical have been awarded a further 5-year contract to provide Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services, some Mental Health Transport and High Dependency transfer across all of Norfolk excluding Great Yarmouth and Waveney, by the NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups for Norwich, South Norfolk, West Norfolk, and North Norfolk.
An already familiar name in the area, ERS Medical will introduce extended operating hours, increased Mental Health resources, and provide High Dependency transport for patients who have a medical need and are unable to travel without assistance.
After a short implementation period ERS Medical successfully launched the new service on the 1st October 2019.
After a fantastic first month, Nigel Briggs Senior Operations Manager in Norfolk said “The award of such a major contract to ERS in Norfolk was a testament to the commitment of the company and its staff.
We strive to be the best we can and will continue to put the patients at the forefront of all we do. Over 12000 patient journeys were completed in the first month of the new contract across Norfolk. The scale of the requirement is phenomenal and the ability to deliver this service shows the desire and experience of the team here in Norfolk.
We will continue to work with Norfolk hospitals, NHS facilities and the patients to ensure the excellent start to the contract is maintained throughout its duration and delivered in accordance with the ERS core values.”
