ERS Medical wins Homerton NEPTS contract
Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has awarded patient transport and healthcare courier provider, ERS Medical, a non-emergency patient transport service (NEPTS) contract.
The NEPTS contract will commence on the 1st October 2019 and cover primary care and secondary care locations across North East London. The contract is expected to provide 48,000 journeys to patients per annum from locations including Homerton University Hospital and St. Leonards Hospital London.
Based in the London Borough of Hackney, Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides general health services at hospital and in the community with staff working out of 75 different sites. The hospital has almost 500 beds spread across 11 wards, a 9-bed intensive care unit and maternity, paediatric and neonatal wards.
