ERS Medical Ambulance Patient Transport

Supporting the Kirkwood Hospice Midnight Memory Walk

ERS Medical was pleased to support the 10th Annual Midnight Memory Walk on the 18 June, raising money for the Kirkwood Hospice. A record number of 1,278 people took to the streets of Huddersfield to walk six or 10 miles raising an impressive £95,000 for patient care at the Kirkwood Hospice.

ERS Medical Emergency Care Assistants Chris Eiffert and Paul Riley along with Ambulance Care Assistants Pat Ward and Steve Sykes volunteered their time offering medical support. A HDU ambulance and a PTS vehicle were also on standby at the event.

Chris Eiffert, Emergency Care Assistant at ERS Medical commented, “The event is an opportunity to give something back to a charity that cares for individuals and their families that have been affected by a very serious and unforgiving illness. It‘s something very close to my heart and I couldn‘t do it without the help from the company and from my fellow Team Members and friends. The event passed with only two minor incidents and the event raised an outstanding £95,000.”

Well done to all those involved!
