Mental Health in the Young
ERS Medical was pleased to be the headline sponsor at the Mental Health in the Young event at the University of Salford last month. The event looked at the growing prevalence of mental health issues in children and young people.
As part of the agenda, our Head of Care presented to the delegates about ERS Medical’s secure patient transport and the ethos of ‘delivering patients, not problems’.
“This event was an ideal opportunity to showcase our vehicles but also the training our escorts receive to ensure a safer, less stressful transfer for the patient. Our presence at the conference will also allow us to work closer with mental health units to facilitate safe patient management during transfer which is often an uncertain and frustrating time for patients.”
An ERS Medical secure patient transport vehicle was at the event for delegates to have a look around and learn about our different approach to patient care. The event was a great success and ERS Medical is looking forward to attending future Mental Health events.
