Neonatal Patient Transport

ERS Medical provides a Neonatal Transport Services for premature and sick babies to ensure the safe and quick transfer to a care unit suited to their needs.

Most babies will be moved to a neonatal unit within the same network, but some may be transferred to a unit in a different network. No matter where the transfer is to and from, ERS Medical can provide the transport support required.

Our Fleet

ERS Medical provides incubator transport for new-born and premature infants. We work with neonatal departments to provide a transfer service to and from specialist units and have vehicles that are fitted with the extra-safe, high-tech infant POD transport devices to aid the safe transportation of the patient.

Our Response

During transportation, we are fully aware that the journey needs to be smooth and stress-free, we also understand the time-critical challenges and treatment requirements usually associated with critically ill babies. For this reason, all drivers undergo regular training and the use of blue-light will be used when deemed appropriate by a medical professional.
